Monday Gardening Group
The Monday Gardening Group is an all-inclusive space where folk can get together to chat, share ideas, plant seeds and build things to be used in the garden. It’s a safe space to share experiences and learn new things.
Workshops and Special Events
We run regular events throughout the season. In 2022, we are hosting seed swaps, plant swaps and various courses and workshops. In April, we are offering an introductory ‘how to grow veg’ course. In May, we are ‘Sowing A Summer Garden’. In June, we are having a Summer Solstice Party. In July, we are hosting a writing workshop. In August, we are going mushroom foraging. Food Share Table
There is a Share Table at the community garden, where anyone can take food or leave food – it just sits there, and we keep an eye on it.
On Sundays throughout the summer we run a bigger Food Share Table, where we share the food we’ve grown at the garden with our community. Food is free!
